What a cutie!!
We went to Crystal Lake today.
The kids were so exited to catch a fish.
Yes Ryan is with out pants. He tripped and fell into a muddy puddle about ten min. after getting to our spot!  So we hung them out to dry over the fire.

They wanted turn after turn holding their catch.  They were pretty proud.
bundling up by the fire :)
 What a handsome man!!
Cute kids!!

My beautiful Kayley started first grade today.  I miss her so much!!! I can't believe how big she is.  She was exited to go to the same elementary school that I want to :)

We have been living in Utah for 3 weeks now.  What a crazy couple of months we have had.  For FHE this week, we took the kids to down town SLC on Trax they had fun "riding the train" we went to the temple and and explored the new City Creek Mall.  It was beautiful and we all had fun looking at all the water features. Then we ended the trip with some ice cream.  It was also a great way to spend the last day of summer before Kayley started school.

This is how we spent our last Saturday in Houston.  We should have been packing, but we really needed this!! Looking back, as crazy as the rest of the move was I don't regret taking the time to just be a family without cares.

Kayley did a beautiful job in her dance recital.

Happy Birthday to my sweet man Wyatt!! we had a fun day at Chuck e Cheese, with some fun friends and Grandma Howe.  We love you so much Wyatt!!!

Beautiful Utah Mountains!

Mark's hat had an attached beard to it! I thought it was pretty cool.
What a fun day in the snow!  It would have been even more fun if it were not snowing and the sun was out, but it was magical for the kids being their first time to play in snow.

As soon as we got home from Ryan's eye surgery yesterday I made it just in time to attend Kayley's "hoedown" I was so glad I made it! I couldn't stop smiling it was the cutest thing! Kayley danced like a pro! She was an adorable cowgirl too :) I just love that little girl!!
It was an exhausting day but FULL of blessings.

What a day!

Ryan had eye surgery yesterday.  This is in the pre-op room.  I was a little nervous, but I knew he was in good hands.  The hardest part was handing him to the nurse and watching him be carried away down the hall.
The Doc. said everything went very well.  It was good to hear that! But still really surreal to see my baby like this. He freaked out a little when he woke up, but was much better once everything that was attached to him was taken off.  I am so glad it's over!
I am so grateful for all the prayers and thoughts that went out to us.  Grandma Howe was big help with the kids they just adore her! She made the day a lot less stressful. We feel so blessed to have Grandma and Grampa Howe close by.

This is how he looks today.  Red, but there not crossed! He is doing really well. What a tough little guy :)
